Zero Carbon Caravan comes to Norwich
A glorious Sunday, a small festival, and a Transition stall!
The Zero Carbon Caravan, on its way by bicycle, etc. to Copenhagen to proclaim the low carbon message, stopped in Norwich yesterday. This was sufficient of an occasion for a small Zero Carbon Festival in Chapelfield Gardens, at which Transition Norwich had a stall.
It was a beautiful day to be out in Chapelfield Gardens, but the festival was very low key, with only a few stalls, and a small but enthusiastic crowd.
There were several local bands playing, but the highlight was a performance by the excellent and well known campaigning band Sieze the Day, who gave us two brilliant sets.
