This picture is of our efforts to place various stuffed creatures, pieces of vegetation and other props in appropriate places in the zones and sectors... I'm hoping to be able to bring my learning into the Transition Wivenhoe project.. fluffy creatures an all :-) It's a great course, thanks to our teachers/facilitators Marina and Hannah and fellow pc comrades.
We teamed up in August this year with the young touring cyclists from the Otesha Project; they offered workshops to the community on sustainable transport, ethical fashion and played the Great Banana Chain Game as well as performing their play, Morning Choices www.otesha.org.uk
over 20 people gathered for an impromptu blackberry and rose hip picking, meandering along the river Colne.. jams and jellies ensued!
Films are open to all. Some are bike powered by Jay's amazing Cycle Cinema - zero carbon movies!! Richard Monk from Colchester Cycling Champions has donated some freebies for the kind pedallers.
We're showing The Age of Stupid on 19th November at Wivenhoe Football Club, in association with Essex University iCES. Entry £4.
