Adding new events

We are having  a stall at the Heavy Horse Fair in Stow Bardolph this Sunday the 26th of April- how can I add that to the upcoming events page?

Hi Pallavi,

You can add events to your profile or to any group you're a member of. In this case it would be best to post to your group - but wherever you choose to put your event the process is the same:

• Log in and visit the place you'd like to post the event (either your profile or a group home page)
• Choose the 'add' drop down and select 'event'
• Fill in all the details and save

It should show up in the global 'Upcoming Events' box, your group navigation and in your group's events folder.

Oh, one other thing Pallavi.

When you have created and saved your event don't forget to 'publish' it - in the top right of the edit bar you'll see it says 'private' in red; click the drop down and chose to publish (this applies to anything you create)

I'm hoping that Gary's developer can eliminate this need to formally publish things next week.
